English Language Bridging Program (ELBP)

 

The English Language Bridging Program (ELBP) is for students who have narrowly missed the English language requirements for direct entry into their chosen Monash University degree. It is for both local Malaysian students and international students with conditional offers for Monash University.

 

You are admitted directly to Monash University once you successfully complete this program. You do not need to re-sit the IELTS test.

Undergraduate


IELTS: 5.5, Writing 5.0, no individual band score below 5.0

 

or

 

TOEFL PAPER-BASED: 471 with a TWE of 4

 

or

 

TOEFL iBT: 52, writing 15, speaking 14, listening and reading 5

 

or

 

PTE Academic (Pearson Test of Academic English)

Overall 42: writing communicative skills score 36, no PTE communicative skills score below 36

 

or

 

MUFY (Monash University Foundation Year): 60% to 64% in English.

 

Postgraduate

(Master of International Business, Master of Communication and Media Studies, Master of Business Information Systems)

 

 

IELTS: 6.0, Writing 5.0, no individual band score below 5.0

 

or

 

TOEFL PAPER-BASED: 523 with a TWE of 4

 

or

 

TOEFL iBT: 69, writing 15, speaking 14, listening and reading 5

 

or

 

PTE Academic (Pearson Test of Academic English)

Overall 50: writing communicative skills score 36, no PTE communicative skills score below 36
