Shops and other service outlets

A bookstore is located on campus across the Learning Commons, Building 7.

Cafes, restaurants and other food/beverage outlets

Vending machines 

A cafeteria which provides many different types of food is located on campus (Building 6, Level 1).

Drink vending machines are available in various Buildings on campus.

Lost property and locker hire

Lost property

If the owner of a lost item can be identified, contact is made by telephone or email, but the onus is on the owner to contact the University if they have lost something. Monash University is not liable for loss of, or damage to, the property of students on campus, and private property is not covered by University insurance. Lost property items are normally held for three months. Suitable unclaimed items are donated to appropriate charity organisations.

Lost property can be handed into, and collected from Student Community Services Department, located at Building 2, Level 2. (Items will be kept for three months).

Recreation and entertainment activities and facilities

Pool table, foosball, TV, and other recreational facilities are located at the MUSA Student Lounge at Building 6, Level 1.

Religious facilities and support

Prayer and faith spaces

A surau for Muslim staff and students is located on campus at Building 6, Level 3 and plans are ongoing for a multi faith religious centre to be located on campus.

Showers and changing rooms

Showers are available at Building 6, Level 1 and 2.

Sporting and fitness facilities

Sporting facilities are located at Sunway University College right across the Sunway Campus. Futsal / Basketball / Handball court booking is managed by the Monash University Students Association. Staff and student should contact the Lounge Attendant, MUSA Lounge, Building 6, Level 1. The link to the guidelines for use of the Court is http://www.musa.monash.edu.my/Court-Booking.html

Contact your student association (MUSA) to find out about meeting rooms or conferencing facilities.

Resting spaces for students with a medical condition

There is a specific room set aside for students and staff who have a medical condition and need to rest. The sick room is located at Building 6, Level 3. For inquiries and access, please contact Facilities Management Department at 603-5514 6149.

Student lounges and group spaces

MUSA Student lounge is located next to the cafeteria at Building 6, Level 1.

Parenting rooms/baby change facilities

A Mothers room is available at Building 6, Level 3.

Bicycle riding, skateboarding and rollerblading

The paths and grounds of the University are restricted to pedestrian and essential vehicle use only. Bicycle riding, skateboarding and rollerblading are not permitted. Cyclists must dismount and walk their bikes and park them in available bicycle racks.

Banks and postal facilities

Post offices

The nearest post office is in SS 13 and SS 15 Subang Jaya. There is also a post office located at Bandar Sunway Post Office.

 Banks

There is a MayBank ATM machine near the entrance to the MUSA student lounge at Building 6, Level 6. International students can obtain a letter from the International Student Services Unit to open a bank account by completing a form at the counter. Many banks are available around Sunway Pyramid.
