  • Dr Teoh Kok Soo, a senior Engineering lecturer at Monash Malaysia was awarded the prestigious Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning under the Carrick Awards for Australian University Teaching organised by the Carrick Institute of Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. He was invited by the Vice-Chancellor’s office of Monash Australia to apply for the Carrick Award and was nominated by the Engineering faculty.
     

  • Although Dr Teoh has already received a few recognition of his contributions to education including the Monash University’s Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Distinguished Teaching 2005; the first for a Malaysian, and the Monash Malaysia Pro Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching 2005, he feels that the Carrick Award is a significant addition to his list of achievements.
