Gearing for Success Talk

On 20 October 2007 (Saturday), the Monash Alumni Group (MAG) held the third series of the Gearing for Success Talk. This time, it was conducted in the cozy EcoGreen Organic Café in Bangunan Bakti, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail. The entire café was booked for the event which featured fellow alumnus, Ms, Carol Yip present a talk on Financial Behaviour. Carol is a financial consultant and an expert in the area of wealth management with some publications under her belt as well. About 25 persons attended this talk on a Saturday afternoon despite the heavy downpour. The talk was very insightful and everyone managed to relate personally to the topics presented. When Carol invited the participants to share their views based on the topics she addressed, everyone had a good time exchanging experiences and hopefully, learning from them. The talk which lasted for about 2 hours concluded with a sumptuous spread of organic food. The buffet high-tea featured a fusion fare to suit all taste and in accordance to the Hari Raya theme too. Everyone had a great time networking and there was enough food left over for all to take back for their supper after. Interview and press release .
