Stakeholder / Alumni Graduation Cocktail Reception 2007

On 8 September 2007, the Grand Bahamas of Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel in Malaysia once again witnessed a union of luminaries at the Stakeholder / Alumni cocktail reception. This year however, was different as it was the first time ever the Monash University Council were invited to be part of the dignitaries of the event. This was made possible as it was held in conjunction with the launch of the new Sunway campus on 3 September 2007. As such, the event was bigger and better than ever with over 250 guests attending.

The evening was filled with much excitement and celebration as the VIPS, alumni and fresh graduates all gathered into the venue to attend this historical event. MAG President, Ms, Cheryl Teh, gave a beautiful speech which went straight to the hearts of the alumni as she was speaking the thoughts of many fellow alumni that night. The night started with formalities, speeches and a few videos. This then led to the much-awaited spread of mouth-watering food and social networking which went into the late hours past midnight as everyone was catching up on old times and making plans for the future.
