Monash International Alumni Summit 2008, Singapore, 8-10 June 2008

 This annual event took place for the second time and this time, it was held in Singapore. The 3 day event saw alumni representatives from the international Monash chapters of Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong. As members of the Monash Alumni Advisory Group (MAAG), the alumni brought forth many issues for discussion. The other participants in the Summit included representatives from Monash University Caufield campus, Australia; Monash University Sunway campus, Malaysia and Monash University Johannesburg campus, South Africa. The Summit was filled with brainstorming sessions, sharing of ideas, presentations on various concerns and wonderful global networking opportunities. Apart from the intense conference proceedings in the Summit, the delegates were also treated to a night out to enjoy some of Singapore’s attractions such as the Singapore Flyer and Fish Spa.
