Pro Vice-Chancellor & President Dinner with MUAM Committee, 25 March 2008

The new Monash University Alumni Committee took office in March after the general elections and was invited to meet the Pro-Vice Chancellor & President of Monash University Sunway campus. A dinner was organised to facilitate the networking between the University and the alumni committee. The dinner was held at Oriental Palace in Jaya 33 where the attendees enjoyed a traditional Chinese course dinner. This was followed by drinks at Vintry, a famous wine cellar downstairs. Apart from Professor Robin Pollard and the MUAM Committee, among the present were Mr. John Kearsey (Divisional Director of Donor, Alumni & Community Relations – Australia), Dr. Matthew Sukumaran (Director of Administration - Malaysia) and Mr. Jeffery Soong (Head of Advancement – Malaysia). Everyone had a good time networking that night over good wine (and juices for non-wine drinkers) and friendly conversation; which went on past midnight.
