Undergraduate entry requirements and fees

  • Students who have completed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), O-level, or equivalent programs must first complete a pre-university qualification (eg. those below)
  • All undergraduate programs offered in Malaysia, are selected to meet the demands of the students and relevance to the needs of society.
  • Programs are conducted under the auspices of the faculties of Monash University and instruction, experience and qualifications received in all course work is similar to what students studying in Australia receive.

3 Ontario Grade 12 Average of six best OC subjects. English entry requirement by a pass in English subject.
4 IB Diploma Total score achieved for all subjects. English requirement met by 4 (standard level) or 3 (higher level) in English.
5 MUFY Total of best 4 subjects. 10% bonus for 5th subject passed
6 UEC Average of the best five subjects, excluding English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia . Scores are calculated: A1=1, A2=2, B3=3, B4=4, B5=5, B6=6, C7=7, C8=8. English entry requirement met by providing IELTS or TOEFL.
7 Sri Lanka A levels Total score of a maximum of 3 A Level subjects taken in one academic year. Scores for A Levels: A=5, B= 4, C=3, S=1. English entry requirement satisfied by providing IELTS or TOEFL
8 All India Senior School Certificate and ISC Average of the best 4 academic subjects, excluding the local language. English entry requirement met by pass in English subject.
9 UNSW Foundation (UNIPREP) Final GPA. English entry requirement met by minimum of 6.5 in English subject.
10 South African National Senior Certificate Total number of points in the best six subjects (excluding Life Orientation). Bonus points (maximum of four) awarded for Level 5 or higher in English and Mathematics, or Level 6 or higher in Mathematical Literacy. English entry requirement met by minimum of Level 4 in English.
11 Sunway University College Foundation in Arts Based on the calculation of the overall average using individual percentage grades on the transcript. English entry requirement met by minimum of B+ (65%) in English.
