Student Support

The Monash University Student Association is a wholly student run organisation that plans and organises student activities. All students are automatically members and are free to, pending approval by the Monash Student Council (MSC), to form clubs and societies or to organise events that would help strengthen cooperation among students. AS they also act as the liaison between the students and administrators of Monash University Malaysia, the Student Service Department provides them whatever support requested and as requested. Students can also meet Student Services Staff for other services, which include the following:

 

Endorsement Services

The Student Services Department provides endorsement services for students. If you wish to apply for student discount cards, e.g. ISIC, MAS Student Discount, etc., please drop by the Student Services Department with your student card and the forms or documents you need certified. You will need to show your student card as proof of enrolment, and you can leave your forms or documents to be collected the day after.

 

Any external notices you want to put up on the numerous notice boards on campus need to be approved and signed by the Student Services Department. Drop by anytime from 2pm - 5om Mondays to Fridays with the copies of the notice to be put up for endorsement.

 

Also, as part of our services for international students, the Student Services Department can issue short letters as required. Examples of such letters include letters for Opening Bank Accounts, Certification Letters, Letters for the Embassy, Confirmation Letters and Withdrawal Letters. To speed up the process of obtaining your required letter, you can go to the link below, print out the form available there and complete it. After completing it, please submit the form to the Student Services Department, and you can collect the letter you need in 2 working days.

Local students must go to the Student Administration Services Counter to request for Short Letters.
