Students at Monash University Sunway campus are looking beyond exams, assignments and semester breaks: the future-oriented bunch is setting their minds on career paths even before they graduate. They set the campus abuzz as they flocked to the Monash Career Expo 2011 and visited over 45 organisations which had set up booths at the event. Ms Sunita Kaur, Assistant Manager of Employment and Career Development, said it was the perfect opportunity for organisations to provide first-hand information on their employment and industrial opportunities to the student community. “This gives a wider exposure to the students about the working world and gives them a chance to interact directly with these organisations,” Ms Sunita added.
The Monash Career Expo was jointly organised by Employment and Career Development, Monash Business Club (MBC) and Monash Banking & Finance Club (MBFC).
