Award for top business student

The School of Business at Monash University recently presented the Best Student Award to Jolene Yeoh Wei Ling.

The award was presented by Professor Ron Edwards, Head of the School of Business in a simple ceremony attended by lecturers, staff from the school as well as her proud parents.

“On behalf of the school and university, I would like to congratulate Jolene and wish her great success in the future. We at Monash take pride in excellence and the award given is a form of acknowledgement for her remarkable achievement,” said Professor Edwards.

Jolene who graduated last year with a Bachelor of Business and Commerce degree is currently working at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an assurance associate.

As the Best Student Award recipient, she was given a certificate and a cash prize of RM 1,000.

“I would like to thank everyone especially the lecturers, my parents and friends for the support they had given me. All the hard work has finally paid off and I would also like to thank the School of Business and Monash University for presenting me this award,” said Jolene. – Anita Hadi.
