Student intake periods

Monash University Sunway campus has introduced a student intake in August since 2009.

August intake students will complete a total of four units: two units between August and November and two units between December and January the following year. Upon the completion of each block of two units, examinations will be held usually in November (for the first two units) and February (for the second two units).

Limited courses/units are offered in the August intake but this allows students to commence studies out of the February and July intakes.

The diagram above shows the study pattern of a student who commences studies in August 2012 for a three-year course. Please note that all the Arts Degrees will take an additional semester, which will add six months to the duration of study, while double-degree courses typically take an additional year.

• Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems
