Monash University students are encouraged to take up residence at one of the three accommodations:

 

These are managed by Sunway Residences. Located within walking distance to the campus, residences are situated in the integrated city of Bandar Sunway. There are a variety of restaurants, food courts, banks, shopping malls and hypermarkets nearby. Public transport such as the Free Sunway Shuttle connects all the major amenities to the accommodation.

Other Accommodation

There are many types of accommodation suited for a variety of budgets that are located close to the campus such as Casa Subang, Palmville, among others. Room rentals start from RM180 (USD$60) a month, while entire two or three bedroom apartments can be rented for RM2,000 (USD$650) onwards.

 

Available accommodation is often listed in the local newspapers – The Star, New Straits Times and online property portals such as www.iproperty.com.my and www.thinkproperty.com.my.

 

All international exchange students will have their accommodation arranged by Monash University Sunway campus prior to their arrival; for more information, visit the International Exchange Opportunities website.
