Lost & Found

All lost property found on campus should be handed to the Student Services Department, where it will be retained for two months. If the owner can be identified, contact is made by telephone, letter or e-mail, but the onus of responsibility is on the owner to contact the Office. Unclaimed items are given to the Sunway College Student Services Department after two months, and if there is still no claimant, given away to charities.

Students are reminded that private property is not covered by university insurance. Monash University is therefore not liable for the loss of or damage to the property of students on campus.
