Deferment of an offer

If you wish to DEFER the commencement of your studies, please follow these steps carefully:

Step 1

Complete and sign the Application for Deferment.

Step 2

Purchase a bank draft or prepare a cheque (in Ringgit Malaysia drawn to a Malaysian bank) addressed to Monash University Malaysia , for the Initial Fee as indicated in the offer letter.

Step 3

Complete and sign Acceptance Document-2.

Step 4

Send the application for Deferment, bank draft or cheque, and Acceptance Document-2 to:

46150 Bandar Sunway
Selangor Darul Ehsan,
Malaysia

Please ensure that the above items reach the University by the applicable acceptance deadline as stated in the Offer Letter.

Alternatively, you could submit the above documents in person at the University's Financial Services Payment Counter, by the acceptance deadline applicable to you.

Step 5

Ignore Acceptance Document-1.

Step 6

Please note that deferment is subject to faculty/school approval. You will be notified in writing after your application for deferment has been processed.
