LANGUAGE & LEARNING PROGRAMME

STUDY SKILLS WORKSHOP

The Language & Learning Programme is incorporated into the Orientation Programme to prepare you to acquire a set of adequate study skills so that you can cope with university life. The university life, apart from its social aspect, is also an academic experience. It allows you the opportunity to develop your analytical and critical skills in reading, assignment writing, listening for information, library research, presentation skills and other kinds of skills that are subject specific. The Language & Learning Programme is designed for you to participate in these skills so that your university experience can be academically challenging and rewarding. Therefore, you are strongly advised to attend the Study Skills Workshop that is part of the Language and Learning Programme.

The places for the Study Skills Workshop are limited. Please register at the booth for LLSU/Learning Skills for a first come first served basis.

The Language & Learning Support Unit, located in Building 5, Level 1, offers services to students who require assistance in English and Study Skills. You could e-mail eric.wong@adm.monash.edu.my or call 03-55146181 for an appointment.
