Honours Degree of Bachelor of Science (Environmental Management)

The Bachelor of Science (Environmental Management) (Honours) has been designed specifically to provide a fourth year of advanced study and research training for students who have completed a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Management).

The course provides you with a unique opportunity to build on the excellent foundations provided by the Bachelor of Science (Environmental Management). This means extending the skills to utilise sophisticated equipment, and to effectively communicate, liaise and cooperate with others in a multidisciplinary setting and work within and contribute to a team environment.

Candidates will follow a structure which includes advanced coursework and specified assessment tasks, a thesis component and seminars/oral presentations.

The campus has 40 School of Science labs for teaching and research including Applied Immunology and Pathology, Animal Tissue Culture, Plant Tissue Culture, Genetics, Herbarium, Microbiology, Human Physiology, Biochemistry and more than 70 support spaces – such as for specialised instruments, an animal house, photomicroscopy, Drosophila fly rooms, rooms for tissue culture, cold rooms, etc
