Message from the President and Pro Vice-Chancellor
Monash is ranked among the best in world because of our commitment to research and education excellence. The University is thus committed to stimulate academic staff development, reflecting our priority to attract and retain the best talent.
To this end, we have established the Campus Mentoring Scheme for Early Career Academics that is designed to enhance the understanding of academic roles, develop talent and potential, improve the quality of life for Monash academics, and contribute to the overall realisation of professional goals and aspirations.
Following the successful implementation last year, 17 Earlier Career Academic staff members have been paired with experienced mentors across different schools and benefited from this mentoring initiative. I would like to encourage all academic staff to seize the opportunity and participate in this mentoring scheme, either as a mentor or a mentee.
Further details on the Campus Mentoring Scheme is available in this website. You may also contact the Campus Mentoring Scheme Coordinator, Ms Joanne Chan at email@example.com for further assistance.
We look forward to your participation.
