"Defect and Fault Tolerance in Electronic Systems"

Organized by TC-32 of IEEE I&M Society:

Prof. Nohpill Park, Oklahoma State University, USA

Prof. Serge Demidenko, Monash University, Malaysia

This special session will cover all aspects of theory and practice of Fault Tolerant Electronic Systems including design, fabrication, testing, diagnosis and application.

The scope of the session includes, but is not restricted to, the following topics:

  • fundamentals of defect and fault tolerance in electronic systems;

  • yield/reliability modeling and analysis;

  • fault modeling and simulation;

  • defect and fault tolerance techniques;

  • electronic testing and diagnosis for defect and fault tolerant electronic systems

  • sensors, instrumentation & measurement tools for defect and fault tolerant electronic systems;

  • self-testing and self-repairing electronic systems.

Further information can be obtained from: NPark@a.cs.okstate.edu and Serge.Demidenko@eng.monash.edu.my

For submission to the special session, please follow the instructions provided for submission to regular sessions on the workshop web site at http://www.monash.edu.my/events/Delta2006/submissions.html, and in the submission letter, specify that the paper is submitted to the special session

"Defect and Fault Tolerance in Electronic Systems".

Please, DO NOT submit the papers to the special session organizers! However, an email note to the special session organizers announcing the submission will be appreciated.
