Welcome Reception at the poolside in The Regent Hotel
DELTA’2006 delegates are welcome to register for the workshop on Monday
January 16, 2006 between 5pm and 7 pm at level 2 of The Regent Hotel. The
delegates are invited then to drop in for the welcome reception by the
poolside (level 3) 7pm onwards for drinks and nibbles. Do come to
familiarize yourselves with the
conference venue and enjoy in the company of your colleagues from around the
world.

Enjoy the spectacular myriad of architecture found only in Putrajaya,
a newly planned city and a
federal territory that acts as an federal government administration
centre of
Malaysia moved from the bustling of
Kuala Lumpur.
Sitting smack in the heart of Putrajaya, the 650ha Putrajaya Lake is the
city's centerpiece, a blue watery expanse which blends across the different
precincts and the single prevalent influence which calms and soothes. The
fleet of perahus or the gondola like vessels designed to the style of local
Malay traditional offer a more romantic way to see Putrajaya.
Conference Delegates will be transported to this beautiful venue by
coaches, which will depart from the conference venue at 5.15 pm on January
18, 2006.

The DELTA 2006 Gala Dinner will be held in a lovely garden setting of the
scenic Putrajaya Shangri-La Hotel.
Fine food will be on the menu (and a few other surprises!). |
