From KLIA Airport to The Regent Hotel (map)

Upon the arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), you are advised do one of the following. Both will take you approximately an hour to reach the hotel :
  1. Taxi direct to The Regent hotel:  After claiming your luggage, just before you exit into the arrival lounge, you can purchase a pre-paid taxi at a designated kiosk. It will cost you approximately RM 100 (USD 25). It is advisable to purchase your taxi tickets here before you exit into the lounge as you may be overwhelmed by many taxi companies approaching you which may all not be consistent in terms of the fares. Besides at the kiosk, you also have a choice of budget taxis, limousines etc and can state your preference. A budget taxi is fine for all practical purposes.

  2. ERL express train (info). This is a dedicated express train service which will cost you RM 35 (USD 9) and will take you further into central Kuala Lumpur (KL Sentral Station) by a 28 minute train ride from KLIA airport. Tickets can be purchased near the baggage arrival area. Upon arrival at KL Sentral station, you will then hire a taxi to your hotel for about approximately RM 10 (USD 3).
