Telephone features and steps


Digital Phone

1. Calling/Answering/On Hold

Calling - internal (calling an internal ext.)

Lift handset OR press SPEAKER then dial the Ext. no.

Calling - external (calling an outside call)

Lift handset OR Press SPEAKER then press 9 and Tel no.

Answering (answer a call from your ext)

Lift handset OR press ANSWER (provided MIC is ON)

Answering (answer a call from your sub - line)

Lift handset OR press SUB-LINE button (Flashing)

On Hold (to place a call on hold)

Option 1

During conversation, press HOLD, the outside party is on hold temporary (Music), then press back your Ext. button or Sub Line button (Blinking)

Option 2

It will recall AUTOMATICALLY, after sometime

On Hold (to place a call on Exclusive Hold - only can retrieve back on your own phone)

Option 1

During conversation, if you press HOLD twice (2 x times), the outside party is on hold temporary (Music). The call is place on an Exclusive Hold, you could only retrieve the call you have set on your phone (Ext. button or Sub-line button - Blinking)

Option 2

It will recall AUTOMATICALLY after sometime

 

 

2. Transfer Call (to transfer a call)

Option 1

During conversation, press TRANSFER and dial the Ext no. you wish to transfer. When you hear the ext. ring then hang up. It will recall AUTOMATICALLY if no answer

Option 2

If Ext. is BUSY/ENGAGED, then press TRANSFER (to get back caller)

Option 3

Wait for Ext. to answer (if Ext. reject call), then press TRANSFER (to get back caller)

 

 

3. Last Number Call (to redial the last 5 no.)

Lift handset OR press SPEAKER then press LNR/SPD to select the last 5 dial no. When selected (show on display panel) then press # OR *

 

 

 4. Conference

With outside and 3 inside parties (allow conversation with three (3) other inside parties) 

During conversation, press TRANSFER and dial the Ext no. & wait for answer. Press CONF, while three (3) is conferencing then press TRANSFER and dial the Ext no. & wait for answer , press CONF (4 party)

With outside and 3 inside parties (allow conversation with one (1) outside & two (2) inside)

During conversation, press TRANSFER and dial the Ext no. & wait for answer then press CONF

With 2 outside parties (allow conversation with two (2) outside parties and one (1) inside)

During conversation with outside, press TRANSFER and dial 9 & Tel no. Wait for party to answer then press CONF

 

 

5. Answer Back Handsfree (to answer back without lifting handset - feature +1 to "ON" Mic)

The phone ringing, to answer Lift handset OR press ANSWER then hang up OR press SPEAKER

 

 

6. Pick up Call

Group (pick up any ringing ext. in your group)

Lift handset OR press SPEAKER then press *9

Direct (pick up a particular ringing ext. only)

Lift handset OR press SPEAKER then press *8 and dial the Ext no. that you want to pick

 

 

7. Call Back (to booked a busy/engaged ext. that you have just call )

The Ext. Busy/Engaged, press TRANSFER and press *1. Then hang up OR press SPEAKER (busy party idle, phone ring - lift handset to answer)

**Press #2 - to cancel call back

 

 

8. Call Forwarding

All Calls (forward all calls to anothe ext)

Lift handset OR press SPEAKER then press *2 and dial the Ext no. you wish to forward to. Hang up OR press SPEAKER

When phone is busy ( forward all call to another ext. when phone is busy/engaged)

Lift handset OR press SPEAKER and press *4. Dial the Ext. no. you wish to forward to and hang up OR press SPEAKER

When phone is "NO ANSWER" ( forward all calls to another ext. when you do not pick up the phone after X rings)

Lift handset OR press SPEAKER and press *6. Dial the Ext. no. you wish to forward to and hang up OR press SPEAKER

  

9. Release call forwarding

Lift handset OR press SPEAKER and press *3 or *5 or *7 then hang up OR press SPEAKER

 

 

10. Retrieve voice message

Lift handset OR press SPEAKER then press 46003 or 55146003 & wait for announcement. Key in your extension no. as a pin no. follow the announcement step.
