GENERAL GUIDELINE FOR APPLICATION  OF PROFESSIONAL VISIT PASS AND EMPLOYMENT PASS


GENERAL INFORMATION


Non-Malaysians intending to work in Malaysia must obtain the appropriate category of visas or employment pass prior to commencing work.   Application must be made to the Malaysian Immigration Department for endorsement of relevant visas or employment pass. The foreigners must remain in their home country or country of residence pending approval of the relevant visas or employment pass.

 

PROFESSIONAL VISIT PASS


Professional Visit Pass (PVP) is issued to skilled foreigners required to provide services on a short term basis up to six months.  A PVP may be extended for a further six months subject to the merits of each case.

 

 

DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR AN APPLICATION OF A PROFESSIONAL VISIT PASS

  1. Resume
  2. Photocopy of academic certificates  certified by HR Manager
  3. Photocopy of Passport  (All Pages)
  4. 4  Passport Sized Photo (White Background)
  5. Contract between applicant and Monash University Sunway Campus, Malaysia
  6. Contract between applicant  and  employer in home country of applicant
  7. Work Schedule in Malaysia

     

     

    EMPLOYMENT PASS


     

    An Employment Pass is issued to foreigners who are engaged under an employment or secondment agreement to perform professional duties, or technical roles that required specific practical skills and experience for a minimum period of two years.

     

     

    DOCUMENT REQUIRED FOR AN APPLICATION OF AN EMPLOYMENT PASS

    1. Resume
    2. Photocopy of  academic certificates verified by HR Manager, Sunway Campus Malaysia
    3. Photocopy of passport  (All Pages)
    4. 4  passport sized Photo (White Background)
    5. Recommendation letter by Ministry Of Higher Education, Malaysia
    6. Contract between applicant and Monash University Sunway Campus Malaysia
    7. Medical check-up report
