Counselling and mental health

Student counsellors can help students through difficulties, dilemmas and anxieties concerning them, making their experience at Monash University Malaysia a better one.  Counselling is a confidential and free service for all students.

Counselling focuses on the needs and goals of the person, and facilitates in   enhancing their coping skills.  Apart from counselling, our student counsellors also organise various preventive and developmental programs for students.

  • approaches to study and study difficulties
  • identity, self-esteem and confidence issues
  • stress, anxiety and depression
  • suicidal thoughts
  • family difficulties
  • relationship and sexual issues
