Undergraduate and Postgraduate

The Monash University Malaysia July 2016 intake period commences on Monday 18 July. Malaysian students and international students should note their important dates for application and enrolment deadlines.

The information below does not apply to applicants for the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree, who should follow the specific MBBS admissions process.

We list the common pre-university qualifications for our courses at the bottom of the page.

Applying for credit

If you are applying for credit for previous studies, submit your application as early as possible and no later than the application deadline. If you apply for credit at a later stage you may find some difficulties and delays with the enrolment process.

Acceptance of offer and enrolment

Offer lapse date15 July 2016 or earlier (please refer to your offer letter for the applicable offer lapse date).
Late acceptance16 July 2016 to 05 August 2016.
How to accept your offer
  • To accept your offer, submit your acceptance form together with the initial required payment by the offer lapse date.
  • Students who fail to accept the offer by the offer lapse date will be required to re-apply for Semester October 2016 / Semester One 2017 intake.
Course enrolment deadline
  • Return the course enrolment form to the respective Course Management Office by 18 July 2016.
  • 05 August 2016 is the last day for change (without penalty) of course or units.

Lectures begin25 July 2016

International students

The following dates apply to both:

  • international – transferring students: those who are currently studying/have studied in Malaysia and have a student pass, and
  • international – new students: those who have never studied in Malaysia before.

Note: Students applying for credit for previous studies or with other qualifications are advised to submit their applications as early as possible, and no later than the application deadline as stated above. Late applications will be processed for the October 2015 intake/Semester One 2016.

How to accept your offer

Submit the following documents together with the deposit payment by the offer lapse date:

  • Acceptance form & required payment.
  • Complete immigration documents

Students who fail to accept the offer by the offer lapse date will be required to re-apply for Semester October 2016 / Semester One 2017 intake.

Course enrolment deadline
  • You must obtain a valid Student Pass before you are eligible to complete your course enrolment and commence your studies.
  • Validate your course enrolment form at the International Student Pass counter within the next working day of your arrival in Malaysia.
  • Return the course enrolment form to the respective Course Management Office latest by 18 July 2016.
  • 05 August 2016 is the last day for change (without penalty) of course or units.
