The methods for calculating entry scores for our undergraduate courses are based on a range of international senior secondary school, pre-university and foundation year qualifications.
Total score of a maximum of the best 3 A Level subject examinations taken within two years*.
*Subject examinations taken within two years may include more than one sitting. For example subject examinations in June 2012 until June 2014 are acceptable.
The Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) accepts a minimum D Grade in A Level to be equivalent to the STPM Pass grade. Generally, MQA requires students to have a minimum of two D Grades in A Level, unless a higher requirement is stated in the respective MQA program standards. However, applicants with only one E Grade out of the three best A Level subjects can still be considered by Monash University Malaysia, subject to meeting the entry requirements of both the University and MQA.
A Level students are required to obtain a minimum D Grade to meet the respective prerequisite subject requirements of the applied course, including English.

Monash University only accepts IGCSE First Language English (Subject Code 0500) which has the compulsory Listening and Speaking component in meeting the English language requirements.
Total points as issued on the official final academic transcript (known as the IB Diploma Programme Results) issued by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Evidence of successful completion must be provided (i.e. Diploma Certificate issued by the IBO).

The undergraduate entry requirements published here are for students who commenced the MUFY program in 2023.
Complete and pass eight units and achieve a minimum average required for the corresponding degree.

Overall average of percentage grades for the best six academic Grade 12 subjects* (excluding workplace preparation courses and open courses) as awarded on the Ontario Student Transcript issued by the Ontario Ministry of Education. Students must achieve a minimum total of 30 credits and complete ‘Community Involvement’ and the ‘Provincial Secondary School Literacy Requirement’. Evidence of successful completion issued by the Ontario Ministry of Education must be provided.
Your total score achieved in the Gaokao will be converted into a 100% scale by dividing your total scores achieved with the 2023 Gaokao maximum score* published by the Department of Education in China for each Chinese province. For example, if you achieved a total score of 555 in your Gaokao and the 2023 Gaokao maximum score for Guangdong is 750, then the percentage score on a 100% scale converted by either Monash University or Monash College will be 74%.

Total of the best five subjects^ (Category A and C only - Category B not to be used in calculation) as awarded on the official final academic transcript issued by Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA). Scores grades as follows: Level 1 = 1, Level 2 = 2, Level 3 = 3, Level 4 = 4, Level 5 = 5 or A = 5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1.
A maximum of 1 bonus point is offered when achieving Level 5** or Level 5* in a HKDSE Category A subject.
^The highest grade will be used in the calculation in the event where individual subject examinations have been sat in multiple sittings.
