Travel and exchange scholarships

Current students on all Monash campuses, including Sunway and South Africa and offshore and distance education students, are eligible to participate and receive financial assistance.

Intercampus exchange grants

Students from the Sunway campus who are accepted on an intercampus exchange program to South Africa receive a Monash Abroad travel grant. No grants are available for going to Australia.

Monash students who are Australian or South African citizens or permanent residents and hoping to study at Monash Sunway on a semester-length intercampus exchange or Summer School are eligible for a special Sunway package.

If you’re not eligible for the full Sunway package, you may still qualify for a Monash Abroad Travel Scholarship.

MACC - Malaysia Australia Colombo Plan Commemoration Scholarship

The Malaysia Australia Alumni Council offers two scholarships (one per semester) at Monash Sunway to Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia, currently enrolled in an undergraduate course at an Australian university. They cover travel costs to and from Australia and accommodation in Malaysia, as well as some student fees. More information is available from the Malaysian Australian Alumni Council (MAAC).
