Student Accommodation

Accommodation is available for outstation and international students from on a first-come-first-serve basis and students can choose from two types of hostel accommodation available, namely the non-air conditioned Sun-U Apartment and the air conditioned Sun-U Residence. Both facilities are managed by Sunway Hostel Management. Please direct enquiries on all matters related to on-campus accommodation to the Sunway Hostel Management. The contact details are as follow:

Students seeking hostel accommodation are required to complete the Hostel Accommodation Application Form and send it together with the documents requested by mail or courier to Ms Ting Lan Nee / Ms Mellissa Lee at Sunway Hostel Management Office, No 1, Jalan PJS 11/26, 46150 Bandar Sunway, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia. Applicants MUST include a booking fee of RM500 together with the application (RM30 for the non-refundable processing fee and RM470 as part payment for the hostel rental).

Payments for the hostel accommodation are to be made to Sunway University College. Cheques or bank drafts must be crossed and made payable to SUNWAY COLLEGE SDN. BHD. or made in cash at the Sunway University College Finance counter. Overseas applicants can find out the equivalent rate from a bank or through websites such as http://www.xe.net/ucc/.

Students living in the hostel must follow the rules and regulations that have been set by the Sunway Hostel Management.

Although these rules make hostel living the better option for students in general, there are a number of students who prefer an independent way of life and choose to rent private accommodation on their own.
