Dr Loganathan Krishnan began his law studies at the University of London. He then pursued Master of Laws at the University of Malaya. Thereafter, he undertook the Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching at Curtin University of Technology. He then completed his Doctor of Philosophy in the area of Company Law at the University of Malaya. He was in legal practice for a few years at Thampa Solicitors, London before moving into the academia where he has twenty years of experience. His academic career began at SEGi, before moving on to Curtin University of Technology and University of Tunku Abdul Rahman. He has been lecturing and tutoring Company Law and Business Law to undergraduate and postgraduate students. He has received letters of recognition for being “Excellent Lecturer” at his previous organisations. He has been a Chief Examiner and External Moderator for the said subjects at his previous organisations.

Dr. Loganathan Krishnan has presented research papers at local and overseas conferences. He has also published papers in scholarly refereed and practitioners’ journals namely Asian Law Journal, Company Lawyer, Current Law Journal, INSAF The Journal of the Malaysian Bar, International Company and Commercial Law Review, International Islamic University Malaysia Law Journal, Journal of Governance and Development, Journal of Malaysian and Comparative Law, Malayan Law Journal, Malaysian Journal of Law and Society, Malaysian Journal of Syariah and Law, Quarterly Law Review, Rekayasa Journal of Law, Ethics and Governance, Syariah Journal, The Law Review, CRRC Consumer Review and Malaysia Labour Review. He has also published a book titled Principles of Business and Corporate Law, Malaysia .His research expertise is in the area of Company Law and Constitutional Law. He is also a paper reviewer for a few journals. He has supervised research projects for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

He has also been the external examiners for Masters and Doctoral students. He has received several research grants to conduct research. He is a member of the Asean Law Association of Malaysia, Corporate Law Teachers' Association and LAWASIA. He is also an Editorial Board Member and reviewer of Australasian Journal of Law, Ethics and Governance. He was a Guest Lecturer for University of Sussex, England.
