Graduated with an honors degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Universiti Sains Malaysia (Penang) in 1987. Enrolled and completed Masters in Mathematics Education from University of Deakin, Australia in 1998. Continued studies and completed the Master of Finance degree from University of Leicester (UK) in 2006. Completed the Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in March, 2015 from Northern University, Malaysia (Universiti Utara Malaysia) and graduated in October, 2015 in the area of corporate finance. The title of the doctoral thesis is “The Moderating Effect of Cost of Capital on the Relationship between Working Capital Management and Financial Health of Selected Public Listed Firms in Malaysia”. Gained extensive teaching experience in the areas of Business Statistics, Econometrics, Corporate Finance and Business Mathematics and he has around 30 years of teaching experience (since 1986) in a number of private colleges and universities around the Klang Valley. Taught in many undergraduate and post-graduate programs specializing in Mathematics (Optimization Techniques, Calculus and Statistics), Methodologies, Econometrics and Finance. In relation to his teaching experience, he has worked in collaboration with various reputable universities such as the University of London, Queen’s University of Belfast, RMIT University, Australia, Curtin University, Australia and the University of Wollongong, Australia. During tenure as Senior lecturer at Metropolitan College (subsequently taken over by Inti International College), he was involved in teaching and provided training on various statistical packages such as SPSS and E-Views. He also served as a Metropolitan representative to the Curtin program. Since appointment as a sessional staff at Monash University Malaysia in 2012, he has lectured in quantitative subjects such as Econometrics units and Quantitative Research Methods both at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Appointed as a sessional staff at Monash University Malaysia in 2012 and since then, he have lectured in quantitative subjects such as Econometrics units and Quantitative Research methods both at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Joined Monash University as full-time staff of the Department of Econometrics in April, 2016.
