Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business
The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation is known worldwide as the longest standing, most recognised form of specialised/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn. AACSB accreditation provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and professional development services to the School of Business. Its mission is to foster engagement, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact in business education. This mission is aligned with the 9 AACSB accreditation standards, which are enabled by quality assurance and continuous improvement. The School of Business is one of the few business schools in Malaysia to be accredited by AACSB.
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the world's most forward-thinking professional accountancy body. They are leading the way in the accountancy profession, building partnerships around the world and protecting the public interest. They have more than 208,000 fully qualified members and 503,000 students worldwide. They're among the world’s best-qualified and most highly sought-after accountants. Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is the world’s leading, and largest, professional body of management accountants. Their unique blend of management accounting, financial accounting and business-focused subjects produces competent and confident accountants who can lead their organisations to sustainable success. Bachelor of Business and Commerce students majoring in Accountancy are exempted from various subject, as seen in the exemption search here.
Certified Practising Accountants Australia
Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia is one of the world's largest accounting bodies with a global membership of more than 164,000 members (as at 31 December 2018) working in 150 countries and regions around the world. Their core services to members include education, training, technical support and advocacy. Employees and members work together with local and international bodies to represent the views and concerns of the profession to governments, regulators, industries, academia and the general public. The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants
The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) has been developing the accounting profession in Malaysia for over five decades by providing accounting graduates with an avenue to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Since its establishment in 1958, MICPA has played a key role in the setting of accounting standards and technical advisory for the Malaysian regulatory bodies responsible for carving out the business and financial landscape of this nation. The Professional Stage Examination is exempted for students in the Bachelor of Business and Commerce in the School of Business. Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
For students that are interested to pursue the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) qualification, ICAEW will match up to a maximum of 8 Credit Prior Learning (CPLs)/ exemptions from what is accredited by CAANZ. SETARA and Self-Accreditation
Monash University Malaysia is proud to announce that the University has been rated as an Outstanding (6-Star) university in the latest Malaysia Rating for University and University College Excellence SETARA-2017, conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia (MOHE). Monash University Malaysia is one of a few to be rated as top universities in Malaysia. Monash University Malaysia was one of only two private universities to be awarded this honour and one of eight universities overall. Monash University Malaysia is also a self-accrediting university. Self-accreditation is awarded by the Malaysia Qualifications Agency (MQA) to universities that have been proven to have a solid and stable internal quality assurance system. This status entitles the respective university’s senate to accredit its programs based on the standards set by MQA.
