A dynamic researcher, received Doctorate in the research area of 'Functionalized Nanomaterials for Electrocatalysis and Sensors' from The Gandhigram Rural Institute – Deemed to be University, Gandhigram, Tamil Nadu, India. Areas of expertise include synthesis and fabrication of bimetallic nanoparticles, anisotropic nanostructures, metal-organic frameworks, carbon nanomaterials such as carbon nano-onions, graphene, carbon nanotubes, carbon dots and graphene quantum dots and their composites on electrode surfaces for energy storage and conversion, sensing of biomolecules and environmental pollutants and surface enhanced Raman scattering applications.
