Future Women Leaders Conference 2018

Overview

The Future Women Leaders Conference is a unique event specially designed to support women who are actively involved in the field of Engineering and Information Technology (IT) education and research and to promote gender diversity within the academic environment.

The one-day conference hosted by Monash University Malaysia will gather early career academics in Engineering & IT from Malaysia. Attendees will attend skill development workshops, learn strategies to deal with the specific challenges that women in Engineering & IT are facing and network with their peers.

Professor Cordelia Selomulya (Department of Chemical Engineering) from Monash University will be present as the keynote speaker for this event. The program will be available soon.

Apply now for Engineering & IT Women's Leadership Award

Female postgraduate students, postdocs and early career researchers from Monash University and Monash Alumni who are interested in pursuing academic career in Engineering or IT are invited to apply for this award. Attendance to the Future Women Leaders Conference is restricted to award recipients only. The Monash Malaysia Engineering and IT Women's Leadership Award supports the conference attendance and the network dinner for attendees.
