How to Apply
Monash University, Malaysia students
Step 1: Complete the Enrolment Amendment Form . Students from other faculties are required to seek advice and approval from respective Course Management Office. Your school MUST approve and sign-off the Enrolment Amendment Form.
Step 2: Submit the form to the Course Management Office, School of Information Technology (Building 2, Level 4).
Step 3: Fee invoice can be obtained from fee calculator . Students are required to make payment by the specified dates stated on the fee invoice email.
Step 4: Check WES for confirmation of enrolment.
Enrolment for summer will commence on 1st September 2016, Thursday and enrolments are limited.
Monash University Australia and South Africa Campuses students
You must seek course advice and faculty approval from your home campus for unit(s) you wish to enrol at Monash Malaysia to ensure no disruptions to your course progression. Subjects to the requirements of your course and unit availability, you may choose cross-faculty electives as part of your degree program.
Step 1: Complete the ISP Application-Summer School at Monash University Malaysia Form.
Step 2: Obtain approval from respective Managing faculty at your home campus on the Monash Abroad Application Form. Without home faculty approval, you will not be allowed to participate in this program.
Step 3: Return Summer at Monash Malaysia Application Form and Monash Abroad Application Form and the relevant documents required for the Student Pass application to Monash Abroad, 1st Floor Campus Centre Building 10, Clayton Campus by:
- 7 October 2016 (non-Malaysian citizens)
- 7 October 2016 (Malaysian citizens)
Non-Malaysian students will require a student pass to study in Malaysia. You are required to submit documents stated in the link student pass to facilitate the application for the student pass.
If application is successful, Monash Malaysia staff will enrol the student. Students can check on WES for confirmation of enrolment. Information on fees will be enclosed in the Summer Offer Letter. Students must accept their offers by the given deadline in the offer letter or else enrolment will be discontinued.
Please note that if you did not fill out the ISP Application-Summer School at Monash University Malaysia Form, you will not be allowed to participate in this program.
Cross Institutional Application (non Monash University students)
Students from other institution have the opportunity to study at Monash Malaysia. Please follow the steps below for registration.
Step 1: Obtain approval from your University/Institute for the unit(s) you wish to enrol at Monash University Malaysia.
Step2: Complete the Cross - Institutional Study Application Form (Summer).
Step 3: Send the form and the relevant documents to the address as stated on the form.
Non-Malaysian students will require a student pass/visa to study in Malaysia. You are required to attach documents stated in the link student pass to facilitate the application for the student pass.
If successful, you will be given an offer letter.
IMPORTANT: Please note that enrollments are limited. It is your responsibility to confirm that any summer semester units completed will count towards your current degree and that you have met any prerequisite requirements. If you have any queries you should contact your managing faculty before enrolling in the summer unit.
