Specialized in Educational Psychology and lectured for the past 5 years. During her 5 years of lecturing, Alena also held leadership position in the Psychology Department for a private university in Kuala Lumpur. Alena is also part of the pioneering team in introducing and implementing blended learning and LMS to the university that she has previously served. Apart from that, she was also appointed as one of the university’s internal auditor team in 2014.
Alena is passionate about education and research, as she has also reviewed several papers in related research areas. Currently in Monash, Alena is working on the area of Technology Enhanced Learning and Online Assessment and Feedback under the supervision of Dr. Chew Esyin from Monash University Malaysia and Professor David Mellor from Deakin University Australia.
