Personal statement

Associate Professor Anuja Dharmaratne is a Lecturer attached to the School of Information Technology at Monash University Malaysia. She graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1995 with a First Class Honours in Computer Science. She had her postgraduate education at the Hiroshima University, Japan and obtained her M.Eng and Doctoral degrees from the Graduate School of Engineering in 2000 and 2004 respectively. Her main research interests are in Image Processing, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Game based education, Machine Learning, ICT for Health and ICT for Society.

She worked at the University of Colombo from 1996-2013 as a Senior Lecturer in the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC). She had served many administrative roles at the UCSC during her tenure there.
