The Brain Research Institute Monash Sunway (BRIMS), Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia has started organizing the IBRO-Asia Pacific Regional Schools since 2007. The purpose of the IBRO-APRC Advanced School is to provide a platform for postgraduate students and post-doctoral fellows in the Asia Pacific region to meet in an environment where they can acquire knowledge of both theoretical and technological advances in key areas of neuroscience research.
Funding from IBRO will cover travel and accommodation expenses of up to 15 postgraduate students and young scientists specializing in the field of neurosciences. Laboratory neuroscience research experience of applicants is essential.
