Dr Azimeh Jafari Sadr
Azimeh Jafari Sadr earned her doctoral degree in child development psychology from University Putra Malaysia (UPM) and is currently a lecturer at the psychology department of Monash University Malaysia.
Her research focuses on maternal reading beliefs, mother-child Interaction, emergent literacy among young children, parenting, child psychology, and parent-child interactions. She is particularly interested in empowering parents to have a better relationship with their children so that together they can shape a better future for the young generation.
With more than ten years of experience, she specializes in child and adolescent psychology. As a member of Iran's welfare organization, she served on a committee to assess psychologists. She held a workshop for psychologists, counselors, and others in Iran's Welfare Organization, Ministry of Education, Psychology, and Counselling Organization.
She taught undergraduate and graduate psychology courses for years in Iran. She has also supervised graduate students writing Master's theses. Moreover, she has experience with mixed-method research, which allows a deeper understanding and interpretation of research findings.
