Dr Toh Keng Kiat is an associate professor at Clinical School Johor Bahru, Monash University Malaysia, specialising in haematology. Dr Toh joined Monash University Malaysia in February 2007. A graduate of the University of Singapore in 1965, he went on to specialise in haematology in Edinburgh University under a Colombo Plan Scholarship in 1970. He worked in the Singapore General Hospital rising to consultant in haematology and remained an honorary visiting consultant when he left for private practice. He was a visiting consultant till March 2007. During his tenure, he lectured and taught trainees, both undergraduates and graduates, including the MRACP programme in Singapore. He continued his own career development through sabbaticals at Stanford, M D Anderson, Royal Marsden Hospital and Hammermith in London. Assoc Prof Toh is a consultant in haematology to several hospitals in Singapore and also the Johore Specialist Hospital.
