Library Closure Announcement: 18 March – 14 April 2020

The Malaysian Government has imposed a Movement Control Order effective 18 March - 14 April 2020. In complying with this order, Monash University Malaysia Library and Learning Commons and the Clinical School Library, Johor Bahru will be closed for this period.

Any books due during this period will not incur any fines.

Whether you are a returning student or new to Monash, I wish you a very warm welcome!
In light of COVID19 developments and Malaysia’s Movement Control Order, both Library & Learning Commons and Clinical School Library will remain closed until further notice. Nonetheless we have aligned the library resources, programs and services to cater for the needs of students and staff in the most effective manner, and to limit disruptions as the campus goes fully online.

The Campus is closed and is not accessible to both staff and students for collection of the documents. The Library Insync survey conducted by Monash University Australia in September 2019 across all Monash campuses brought positive results on Monash Malaysia Library’s performance. The Library recorded an encouraging overall score of 75.0 %, which represents an increase of 4.3% since the 2017 survey.
