Research Skills Development (RSD)
The RSD is a concise, conceptual framework that guides skills associated with research to become explicit. It presents a conceptual, non-prescriptive model for curriculum and assessment design that explicitly and coherently develops students' research skills within disciplinary content, at the course and unit levels.
Adoption of RSD framework can serve as an excellent tool to leverage positive curriculum change and embed students’ research skill development as a shared responsibility between librarians, learning skills advisers and discipline academics across courses at Monash University Malaysia.
Importantly, RSD informed curricula will contribute to enabling graduates from Monash University Malaysia to be better prepared for the world beyond university.
