Rewarded for curricular, community work
CIMB awards Choon Jien Loon, Siska Anastasia and Lee Jia Wei with Book Prize.
Three deserving Banking and Finance students from the School of Business were awarded the CIMB Book Prize, which includes a chance to intern at CIMB.
Professor John Benson, Head of School of Business, pointed out that the three recipients, who each met the average mark of 70% or higher and are all active in curricular and community work, were selected after an interview session.
“We pride ourselves that our students are prepared and can go into organisations, hit the ground running and perform really well, both during internships as well as when they graduate and enter the workforce,” Prof Benson said.
The three winners; Choon Jien Loon, a recent graduate; Lee Jia Wei, who is currently interning in Ernst & Young; and Siska Anastasia, who is interning in the CIMB Group Internal Audit Department, each received a cash prize of RM700.
Also present at the event was Robert Lim from CIMB Group Human Resources, who presented the students with the prizes.
