Perseverance leads to success

Congratulations to Felicia Lim Phei Lin on being the only Malaysian representative selected to participate in the CAS SciFinder Future Leaders program!

What an achievement it is to be a national representative amongst several international PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, who garnered an all-expense paid visit to CAS headquarters in Columbus, to participate in the exclusive program.

The program aims to provide PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from around the world an opportunity to build their careers, shape the future of research information, and to collaborate on exciting new initiatives that support the scientific community.

Chris McCue, vice president of marketing at CAS - a division of the American Chemical Society (ACS) - said participants were chosen based on their impressive academic accomplishments and the scientific merit of their research.

“CAS is privileged to connect the next generation of scientists with other leading researchers from across the globe. We are honoured to host the 2018 class and learn from their experiences.”

Currently ongoing, the program will be held until 18 August 2018 in Columbus, Ohio, USA.

The program will conclude with the 256th ACS National Meeting & Exposition: Nanoscience, Nanotechnology & Beyond. Held in Boston, this will see scientific professionals present, publish, and discuss the most exciting research discoveries in the field.

A hearty congratulations to you once again Felicia!
