Universal College Lanka celebrates academic success

It was a joyous occasion for 139 students who received their scrolls during the Universal College Lanka (UCL) Graduation which was held  at Waters Edge, Sri Lanka on 9 February 2018.

"Graduates, I am sure this chapter of your life has brought many new friendships and much inspiration, but this is only the start. Education is the springboard to the future, and I wish you all the very best in your endeavours to come," said Chief Guest High Commissioner for Australia, His Excellency Bryce Hutchesson.

There were 70 Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) and 69 Monash College Diploma (MCD) Part II graduates who received their scrolls proudly that day.

Professor Andrew Walker, President and Pro-Vice Chancellor, Monash University Malaysia, awarded diplomas to the engineering graduates. In his keynote speech, Prof Walker stated: "My warmest congratulations to all of you graduating today. This is an important milestone in your career, as you transition to university study. I encourage you to take some time to reflect on your achievements before embarking on the exciting journey that lies ahead".

25 of the graduates will be continuing their education journey in Monash University Malaysia and we can't wait to welcome them.

Once again, congratulations to all students!
