Participating in the Discourse of Cancer

Pharmacy undergraduate students, Tay Kai Ching and Joanna Goh Xuan Hui, with the supervision of Dr Goh Bey Hing leader of the Biofunctional Molecule Exploratory Research Group (BMEX), have both successfully published two articles in top tier academic journals. The projects had given them a chance to gain research exposure by working across different schools and institutions.

Best Poster Award in 12th European Workshop in Drug Design

Shai Ullah Khan (PhD student, School of Pharmacy and Vice President of ACS Monash Student chapter) participated in 12th European Workshop in Drug Design (XII EWDD) held from May 19-24, 2019 in Certosa Di Pontignano Siena, Italy.  His research work titled “In silico screening of G protein-coupled estrogen receptor-1 (GPER-1) Inhibitors: Integration of three-dimensional ligand and homology model-based virtual screening” got Best Poster Award.

Celebrating a decade of Pharmacy excellence
10th Year Anniversary

The School of Pharmacy turned 10 this month and to celebrate, they hosted a symposium on the future of pharmacy education. On 2 May 2019, experts and educators from across the region gathered to discuss the theme ‘Pharmacy Education: Challenges and Advancement’. Participants at the symposium considered how best to educate the next generation of pharmacists and how to equip them for the changes ahead.
