CMO Appointment & Course Map Submission
At School of Arts & Social Sciences, we provide direct services in relations to academic administration and student support – information and advice about your course structure, unit enrolment, major/minor nomination, course maps, exchange programs, etc.
(i) Please make an appointment at least one week in advance. Kindly scan the QR code below or click here to book an appointment with one of our course administrator:
(ii) Please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will allow time to complete on any additional paperwork and we can see you on time (for face to face appointment only).
**LATEST UPDATE: Face to face appointment currently not available .We will use Zoom online meeting platform as a temporary mode of appointment. We will send you the Zoom link (via email) after you have confirmed your appointment schedule.
(iii) Please notify through phone call/email if you are running late. We will do our best to accommodate you, but will likely have to reschedule your appointment if you arrive late more than 15 minutes.
(iv) Each appointment with the assistance of provider (administrator) is for 30 minutes and this is usually sufficient for the provider to provide their service to you. If you require to extend your consultation, the provider may ask you to make a new appointment.
(v) You can re-schedule or cancel your appointment at any time by clicking on reschedule and cancel appointment button in the notification email (after you completed the booking).

Course Map Submission
If you're not sure that you've structured your course map (course progression plan) properly, we can help to go through it and provide feedback to you.
All you need to do is to fill in the course map template (you can retrieve the course map template from this website) and upload it in this course map submission box.
Note: Please ensure that you select the correct course code: (A2006 Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences/ A2007 Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies/ A2011 Bachelor of Digital Media and Communication)
Usually it takes 2-3 university working days for an administrator to assess your course map. More processing time (up to 5 working days) is needed during peak period:
- Before Allocate+ opens for Preference/Adjustment mode
- Orientation week / one week before new semester begins
- Monash Re-enrolment period
- After result is published
You will receive the outcome of the course map assessment via email.
