Program Details
Synopsis
Designed to provide hands-on experience with social entrepreneurship, innovation and design, you will work with leading social entrepreneurs, industry leaders and mentors as part of this cross-regional social enterprise incubator program. Guided through the program by leading academics and change-makers, you will undertake an intensive innovation and design program with the support of industry mentors and structured workshops to provide insight into social entrepreneurship in different contexts, including India, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.
Over the course of the two-three weeks, you will work in interdisciplinary, cross-cultural teams with students from across the Indo-Pacific region to come up with, design and pitch an idea to an expert panel.
Throughout the program, you will gain insight into the world of entrepreneurship and how it can be used in different contexts as a realistic model to create genuine and sustainable change. You will develop a critical lens to identify and assess opportunities in key emerging markets around the Indo-Pacific, and be equipped with the knowledge, tools and networks to continue your studies and engagement across the regions in social entrepreneurship.
