What is the minimum entry requirement for BSc(Hons)?
Successful completion of a Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) with at least distinction average (70 percent) in 24 points of level three units (or equivalent) in the intended honours discipline. You must have also met the normal Monash University English language requirements for undergraduate students.
I am now in my final semester of my science degree. When should I apply for the Honours program?
To commence BSc(Hons) in Semester 1, you should submit your Honours application to the school by end of November. To commence BSc(Hons) in Semester 2, your Honours application should be submitted to the school by end of June. International students are required to consult the International Student Pass (ISP), before submitting the Honours application to the School of Science Course Management Office.

Are there scholarships available? Do I need to submit a separate scholarship application?
Honours scholarships are available and they are very competitive. You may get a 100% or 50% tuition fee waiver if you are competitive enough. No separate scholarship application is required.
What if I missed the Honours application deadline?
For Malaysian students, late applications can still be considered but they are not eligible for scholarship consideration. International students who missed the Honours application deadline will be required to apply for the next available intake.
