Book your airport reception
Monash University Malaysia welcomes all new international students with a free airport pick-up service. Once your Student Pass/Visa Approval Letter (VAL) is approved, we will be providing you with more information on how to arrange for your airport pick-up service.
The following documents are required to be presented at the Malaysia Immigration Counter.
- Original passport (which should include your Single Entry Visa, if applicable)
- Original Student Pass/Visa Approval Letter (VAL)
- Original offer letter from Monash University Malaysia
Note: Monash University Malaysia is rated as a SETARA “Tier 6” Outstanding University. Students of Tier 6 Universities may proceed to clear immigration without an accompanying university staff.
Transportation from the airport
When you arrive at the airport, a Monash driver (third party provider appointed by the University) will meet you at a designated meeting point. If you can't find your driver, call the phone number on your booking confirmation email.
Airport pickup service is only provided to new commencing students staying within Bandar Sunway (Sunway Township) and Subang Jaya area only.
Note that the University arranged airport pick-up service is only available for students. Accompanying family members would need to arrange for their own transportation. Other options for travelling to your accommodation include the following:

Have you confirmed your accommodation? We suggest that you make the necessary accommodation arrangements before you arrive in Malaysia. Several accommodation options near the campus are available.
