Becoming a mentee

A typical lifecycle of a new international student in the International Buddy Program

to be mentee

Register for the International Buddy Program.

A peer mentor is assigned to the new international student.

International student meets with the peer mentor on weekly basis (for 3 to 4 weeks).

International student is to complete the evaluation form   at the end of the program.

This program is FREE and it is especially for new international students (undergraduate course) studying at Monash University Malaysia.

Requirements:

  • Must have already accepted the offer from Monash University Malaysia.
  • Must have the intention to remain in the program for 3 to 4 weeks once a peer mentor is assigned.
  • Be willing to meet and engage on a weekly basis with your peer mentor.
  • Be open and willing to engage in new experiences, and the sharing of culture and values.
